The Musical Note

Source for Jewish sheet music

The Musical Note has always been the source for Jewish sheet music. With the years, the site was starting to show its age. It suffered from visual clutter with a heavy color scheme, complex navigation paths, unfocused user journey, and a steep learning curve for new visitors.

The Musical Note needed a modern, streamlined redesign to improve user experience and focus on core functionality.

D7mtg implemented a minimalist redesign with a monochromatic color palette, clean but rich typography (see the delicious new serif type), simplified navigation structure, and a prominent search-first approach with a centralized search bar, intuitive category filtering, streamlined product pages, and mobile-responsive design.

The new design delivered impressive results, with 26% faster average time to find products, a 7% increase in search utilization, a reduced bounce rate by 4%, and improved customer satisfaction.
